Retreats schedule

Welcome Circle at 18:00 & Opening Ritual.

After breakfast we travel to Jaipur, the pink city which is known for its beautiful red fort as well as the Rajasthani fabrics, arts and crafts. Jaipur is buzzing with colors and inspiration. A true gem.

Today we travel to Pushkar (about 4 hours by bus). Pushkar is a sacred pilgrimage town that is built around a small lake. You will see many ceremonies, rituals and inspiring offerings while strolling the town. Pushkar is also home of the only Brahma temple in all of India. A place that we all fall in love with every time.

We take time today to explore the beauty of Pushkar. In the morning we will hike up Pushkar mountain and see the world from above. In the afternoon we will practice our Japa Mala Meditation and take part in the Aarti (light ceremonies) at the lake.

Enjoy Pushkar’s rooftops and shop the latest silk fabrics. Dive deeper into the mystical energy of Pushkar and enjoy silent Japa Mama Meditation walks, inspiring Meditations and heart opening Yoga classes. Today is a day for integration, clarity and deep gratitude.

Today we travel to the picturesque and elegant town Udaipur, which is known by many names, including “the City of Lakes”. Undoubtedly one of India’s most romantic cities that charms with culture, colors and spiritual insights.

We will travel from Pushkar to the blue city Jodhpur. Upon arrival we will enjoy a little city tour followed by beautiful Mantra Circle.

We spend a day exploring beautiful Jodhpur. Surrounded by desert vibes, the city shines in its stunning blue colors and gives you a dream like atmosphere. We will visit Jodhpur Fort and listen to classical Rajasthani music. The fairytale is becoming real!

We will close our Rajasthani experience with a beautiful sunrise practice and Morning Yoga class.

Our drivers will take us to the airport to catch a flight from Jodhpur back to Delhi. Good Bye Dinner, Closing Circle and lots of hugs!

Departure Day!

Check out any time after breakfast to catch your flight. No Yoga classes or practices on departure day.

Sara Ticha

Sara’s teachings are rooted in her own practice and study of yoga, mindfulness, and self-development. As a student Sara has one goal: to keep moving closer and closer to her truest, deepest self, and create a safe space where her body, heart, and mind can be healthy and thrive. As a teacher, her goal is to guide her students in the same direction. Sara’s love for India has grown over the last years as she had the chance to study with her Bhakti teacher Raghunath in Govardhan EcoVillage and journey on through Rajasthan on Yatra with yogalexia. This time she is leading her own spiritual journey with the support of Alexia & Raj.

FAQ

Yes! Our pilgrimage route takes us mostly to spiritual places that are often off the beaten tourist track. These places are well maintained and safe. We are also always making sure we are staying in clean hotels and take plenty of safety measurements.

You can apply online for your e-tourist Visa to India via this link:
https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html
You can apply for this Visa anytime after you have signed up for the pilgrimage. You will receive an email with an ETA that says “VISA GRANTED”. The ETA is an confirmation, however, you will only receive the VISA STAMP upon entry at immigration.
Alternatively, you may also apply for a regular paper Visa at your local embassy.

Yatra is a sanskrit word and means “spiritual journey” or pilgrimage. I have called my India journeys Yatras because they are fundamentally different to Retreats. We are traveling a lot, visiting sacred sites, temples and spiritual homes. We will do daily spiritual practices and hold our energy and intentions high. This is not a trip to relax, but a deep encounter with yourself and a country that has ancient roots of wisdom and will empower you to see beyond the veils.

It requires you to be open, accepting, loving and welcoming. It might take you to your limits, yet only to discover that your mind is your only limit. India helps us expand and grow. Be open and you shall receive.

Our Yatra begins and ends in Delhi.
You may book your International Return flight to Delhi. Please do make sure that you arrive before 2pm on Arrival Day to be able to join the Opening Circle without stress.

  • Airport Transfers on arrival and departure day is included in the Yatra price.
  • If you arrive earlier or stay longer, airport transfer is 25€.

Yes, we are sending out a packing list with the confirmation of your space on the Retreat.

Yes, some cash is always recommended as there are no cash machines in the desert. While this is an all-inclusive trip, you might want to buy souvenirs and gifts in the market and also give tips to our Berber team. Best you exchange cash right at the airport so you do not need to worry later as we are on a tightly timed adventure trip.

While India is quite colorful and open when it comes to dress code, there are certain standards to follow especially when visiting temples and sacred sites.
Make sure to pack clothes that are not black in color, long sleeves (below shoulders) and lose pants or skirts (below knees). You can also use shawl to wrap around your waist, head or shoulders when you enter a temple site.
If you do not have clothes that suit this trip, do not worry, come in comfortable outfits and i will take you to the markets on day one. You can get India clothes for a cheap price at the local markets and they will serve you for many India trips to come 🙂
